Salon Policies:
Late Policy -- I appreciate timeliness as I would like to put my full time and experience into your hair. If you are going to be late, please call and let me know. If you are more than 10 minutes late for an appointment, I may not have time to dry or style afterwards. If more than 30 minutes late for an appointment, we will need to reschedule so other clients are not delayed.
** Also, please do not show up more than 10 minutes early for my first scheduled appointments as I will be utilizing the time to prepare for the day**
No Show Policy -- I understand sometimes life happens and you can't make it to your scheduled appointment. Please be courteous enough to contact me by telephone. Even if it's five minutes after your appointment time I may be able to assist another client. 20 minutes after your scheduled appointment you will be considered a no-show and your appointment will be given away. I often have people waiting for cancellations, so that time is valuable for myself and other clients. A no-show will result in a $20 for the appointment missed. After two no-shows, I will no longer schedule appointments for you.
Refund Policy -- I work hard to ensure while sitting in my chair, I understand what you are seeking, and that expectations, both yours and mine, are reasonable for the final outcome. I will explain what I think will or will not work for your hair, but I will also (almost always) do what YOU ask, even if I don't think its appropriate. If for any reason you are unhappy with my work, please just let me know. I do not take offense. If you don't like something just explain it to me and I will fix it, tweak it, tone it, whatever needs to be done to make it right. However, you must let me know within one week for color, or two days for cut if you are not satisfied. This must be done before any alterations by yourself or others as this will void your refund and any attempts to correct the last appointment. I will do my absolute best to make you happy but if I am unable to do so, I will refund HALF of your service to cover product and time spent. Having taken the time to explain what I think will work or not work, if you choose to do what I have advised against, adjustments will be at your own cost, and the refund will not be given.
Child Policy -- Children are only permitted if they have their own appointment, and only during their appointment. Children with appointments must be able to sit on their own through an entire haircut. If they are too fussy for their haircut, and I think they may cause any danger to themselves or myself, I will stop immediately and you will be charged half price for the time slot. Most salons I have worked at have very strict "no children" policies due to the inherent danger with sharp objects, chemicals, and hot tools used in the salon setting. Please keep this in mind when booking your appointment. Most of my clients look at time in the chair as "me" time -- a time when they can have an uninterrupted conversation and a nice relaxing service.

About Me
My first name is Dawn, but I go by my middle name, Sachiko. I am a licensed Cosmetologist who received all of my training in Los Angeles and Orange County California. My highly specialized training was completed through Carlton Hair International with additional experience in European styles and cuts. Please visit their website at

I am 26 years old and originally from Kailua Hawaii, but resided mostly in Orange County California. My father is a retired Marine, and my husband is in the Air Force, so moving is something I am very familiar with. We just arrived in Misawa in May of 2008 and are not looking to move for a few years. We have been married since October 2006, and had our first child on November 4th, 2008. Her name is Lexi Kalei Kokoro Reece, and she's the love of our lives. We have one additional family member, a Chihuahua - Willard.
I use Redken and Artease hair colors. As for products, I am currently using Redken, Schwarzkopf, Bumble and Bumble, Chi, and Sexy Hair, along with a few others.
